I think it was a fair result yesterday at Elland Road. Both teams scored 3 goals in an entertaining game. It's always good to compare yourself against good teams and I count Blackburn as a good strong team. Only a few months ago they were a Premier League team and they still have Premier League budgets so it was a good test for Leeds.
Two goals down after 27 minutes things looked bad for Leeds but to their credit they came back strongly in the second half and with 10 minutes to go were winning 3 -2.
It always feels like 2 points lost on that situation but I think both managers will be happy with a draw. The result leaves Leeds in a good position in the league table but I still think Leeds are short of two good players. It's a long season and I'm not convinced that the squad is big enough for a sustainable title challenge.
