A poor end to the season

I watched the QPR vs Leeds game live on the BBC last weekend. That's 3 games in 3 weeks that Leeds have been shown on live TV. That's good news !

Like the previous game against Burnley Leeds played well but how much of that is because QPR had no need to win the game we will never know.

It's been a disappointing end to the season. Having been in the top 6 and in a play off place for most of the season the Leeds fans expectations had been raised and we all expected to be in the play offs.

However, it's not to be so I just hope that Simon Grayson has his eye on some good players especially defenders. Leeds have scored 80 goals this season which is more than any other Championship team, but the problem is the defence.

Only 10 weeks to the start of next season !

Leeds Vs Doncaster

It was a vital win for Leeds United on Saturday against Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers. Leeds came out winners 5 -2 but the victory was not as comprehensive as the scoreline might suggest, even though Leeds had a many attempts on goa. Leeds looked a little vunerable at the back again. It' s a good job that Leeds' are the Championships top scorers because they are conceding far too many goals.

Nevertheless the victory was merited and they obtained a vital 3 points. Other teams in the top 6 dropped points so Leeds needed the victory to stay in touch and close the gap on the leaders.

It's Preston on Tuesday and hopefully they can come away from that game with another 3 points.
