What a fantastic last day of the season !
I watched the Hull vs Cardiff game on Sky Sports and the Leeds game as well. Hull were leading 2-1 and then missed a penalty. Cardiff went straight to the Hull end and got a penalty which they scored to make it
2-2.
Hull's promotion all hinged on whether Watford won. The Watford vs Leeds game was delayed 16 minutes for injuries so the Hull team had to wait to see what happened in that game.
It was 1-1 at Watford with the home team down to 10 men and pressing for a winning goal. In the last few minutes Leeds had a breakaway and Ross McCormack lobbed the goalkeeper who was off his line. The Watford keeper could only parry it into the net and Leeds ended up winning 1-2.
The result sent Hull up to the Premier League and Leeds finished the season with a win.
Lets look forward to next season where, hopefully, Leeds can re-build and offer a lot more next time.
