Where have all the Leeds fans gone?

There was a time when the attendance at a Leeds United game was greater than anywhere else in the Championship. Often, the attendance was better than several Premier League teams.

Those days seem to have gone as only 19,002 people attended the Leeds vs Millwall game yesterday. To make matters worse, this was only the fifth biggest attendance this weekend in the Championship.

Here are the top six attendances this weekend in the Championship -

Brighton v Huddersfield - 25,831
Sheffield Wednesday v Nottingham Forest - 23,220
Derby v Crystal Palace  - 23,065
Charlton v Burnley - 20,065
Leeds v Millwall - 19,002
Wolves v Watford - 18,571

Brighton getting more fans at a home game than Leeds is terrible.

Come on Leeds fans. We can do better than that.

The next Leeds4less game is against Peterborough on Tuesday 12 March. Adult tickets cost between £15 and £20 depending on where you sit. I'm going in the East Stand where tickets cost £20.
